We came here for a relaxing 5 year anniversary retreat. The experience was that and so much more. All the amenities most certainly give you relaxation, but when you add the surroundings, the view, the sounds, oh the sounds (church bells chime across the valley). We came on a weekend that was cold and windy, but we felt warm and relaxed. I can not remember feeling this relaxed in years. Lodge and furnishings are picturesque. Dan and I were so pleases with our stay at Pine Lakes Lodge. This was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast and were treated like special guests. The food was absolutely wonderful and Laura made us feel very pampered. The whole lodge was immaculate and just looking at all of the decorations and collections was very much fun. Our room was so pretty I almost hated to leave it! We fished, walked, took a Gator ride and just thoroughly had a relaxing 3 days. Leo and Lya were a hoot and we had fun playing with them! I think that we will have a hard time finding a more enjoyable and hospitable place to stay. Thank you so much!!! We hope to visit again! P.S. Rachel and our breakfast on our last morning were both marvelous!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful time!!

Needing a getaway before school started. I searched an Ohio website which led me to your site. Forgetting about the hour difference in time, I called to check availability. Laura was so nice and helpful on the phone. Even though I know I couldn't download the pictures to see the room I was sure everything would be nice. In no way were we prepared for how nice. The food was so delicious! One of the best steaks I've ever had.:) The visit with the other couple was so delightful we've decided to exchange phone numbers. We plan to return this fall!!!!
